Understanding eDEN data
Those eligible as commissioners or providers can access FP17, Compass and dental performer level data. Dashboards and reports are automatically updated with the latest available data.
All data can be exported to Excel, PDF and PowerPoint.
Who can access this data?
NHS colleagues in England and Wales.
What data is available?
Contractual
- information on dental contracts (including which companies or individuals hold these contracts)
- details of practitioners working on each contract
Activity
- treatment data from dental surgeries (including type of treatment and performer)
Financial
- Total contract value, remuneration, pensions and business rate information
Access
- Patient access levels across England and Wales
- Historic levels
Risk
- Risk models have been developed to identify contract outliers and risks to both the provision and the quality of dental care
